Nate Orchard

Defensive end | Utah

The hybrid defensive end led in the nation in sacks per game, with an average of 1.46, and was second in the Pac-12 in total sacks (17.5). He also posted 20 tackles for a loss, which was third in the conference behind Arizona's Scooby Wright and Washington's Hau'oli Kikaha. He was the headliner on Utah's defense, which led the nation in team sacks and was fourth nationally in tackles for a loss. But he wasn't just getting it done behind the line of scrimmage. He also posted 81 total tackles while forcing a pair of fumbles and recovering one. -- Kevin Gemmell
