21. Boise State
The Broncos appear to be favorites to come away with the Mountain West title this season, but first they must replace 14 starters. Coach Chris Petersen will be tasked with the challenge of turning several fresh faces into experienced ones in 2013. However, the starters the Broncos do return will be key parts, aiding Petersen in the process. Senior quarterback Joe Southwick looks to lead the transitioning offense and will be complemented by senior center Matt Paradis, as well as junior wide receiver Matt Miller (769 yards, five touchdowns last season). Defensively, the bright spot will be All-Mountain West defensive end Demarcus Lawrence, who registered 48 tackles and 9.5 sacks last season. -- Chantel Jennings
