Running back returns after suspension

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee running back Travis Henry was
home watching TV when he saw Chris Brown go down with a shoulder
stinger last weekend, helpless to aid his new teammates.

Henry couldn't because he was sitting out the fourth and final
game of a suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse
policy.

"It was disappointing," Henry said Wednesday in his first
public comments since returning from suspension two days earlier.
"For any one of your players to go down, but to not be out there
to be a part of it to help, that's a tough feeling."

The Titans traded for Henry in July to provide a proven backup
to the injury-prone Brown. The first time they really needed Henry,
the running back could not help. That left Jarrett Payton to
replace Brown and he ran a career-high 12 times for 30 yards in the
20-10 loss to Arizona.

Henry, who has rushed 31 times for 97 yards, said he wants to
get back out and help his team.

"I haven't really been able to get on a good start, but now
just get back out there and do what I do, and I think that'll just
speak for itself," Henry said.

Coach Jeff Fisher said Henry did what was expected of him. The
running back benefited from being able to work out in the team's
weight room and under supervision of the team's trainers while
attending meetings.

"He worked hard. He is in good shape. He has been in the
meetings, and there is no problem in the offense," Fisher said.

The Titans rotated Henry and Chris Brown in practice, and both
will play Sunday against Oakland (2-4).

Henry celebrates his 27th birthday Saturday, and he said all he
wants is a good game.

"I was sorry for letting the fans down ... just disappointing,
letting my family down, teammates. I went through the process. I
learned a valuable lesson from it, had a lot of time to think,"
Henry said.

"I'm just happy to be back."
