Even with defensive concerns, Greg Monroe a great match with Milwaukee

NBA, Milwaukee Bucks

This summer presented the Milwaukee Bucks a unique opportunity. Fresh off making the playoffs ahead of schedule as the youngest team to do so in terms of minutes-weighted age, Milwaukee was able to clear max-level cap space to add a free agent before re-signing Khris Middleton to the five-year, $70 million deal he agreed to Wednesday.

Though the Bucks could have ample cap space next summer, so will much of the league. This was the time for Milwaukee to strike, and the Bucks did so Thursday, agreeing to terms with unrestricted free agent center Greg Monroe on a three-year maximum contract worth approximately $50 million. (The exact total won't be known until the salary cap is set on July 8.) Let's take a look at how Monroe fits in Milwaukee.
