1-2 punch: Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao top Forbes celebrity earnings

Fresh off the heels of their May 2 clash, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao topped the list of highest-paid celebrities in the world, as compiled by Forbes magazine from May 2014 through May 2015.

Mayweather and Pacquiao's final earnings from the fight, which Mayweather won by unanimous decision, have not been tabulated, but Forbes estimates that Mayweather's 12-month total is $300 million, while Pacquiao comes in at $160 million.

Rounding out the top five are Katy Perry ($135 million), One Direction ($130 million) and Howard Stern ($95 million).

More than one-quarter of the list of the 100 highest earners on the Forbes list play sports for a living.

Other athletes on the list are Cristiano Ronaldo (No. 10, $79.5M), Lionel Messi (13th, $74 million), Roger Federer (16th, $67 million), LeBron James (18th, $65 million), Kevin Durant (30th, $52 million), Phil Mickelson (36th, $52 million), Tiger Woods (37th, $50.5 million), Kobe Bryant (39th, $49.5 million), Ben Roethlisberger (40th, $49 million), Rory McIlroy (41st, $48.5 million), Novak Djokovic (42nd, $48 million).

More athletes included in the top 100 include Lewis Hamilton and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (55th, $39 million), Ndamukong Suh (57th, $38.5 million), Fernando Alonso and Gareth Bale (67th, $35M), Jon Lester and Derrick Rose (69th, $34 million), Sebastian Vettel (73rd, $33 million), Rafael Nadal (76th, $32.5 million), Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Neymar (82nd, $31 million), Carmelo Anthony (86th, $30.5 million), Maria Sharapova (88th, $29.5 million), Carson Palmer and James Rodriguez (89th, $29 million).

Model Gisele Bundchen is ranked 46th with a total of $44 million. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, her husband, did not crack the list.
