Braves add Drew Stubbs, Alexi Ogando; DFA Michael Bourn, Emilio Bonifacio

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Atlanta Braves got close to their season-opening roster limit Saturday by adding outfielder Drew Stubbs and pitcher Alexi Ogando to the roster from Triple-A Gwinnett.

Outfielders Michael Bourn and Emilio Bonifacio were designated for assignment .

Stubbs signed a minor league contract Wednesday, one day after opting out of his contract with the Texas Rangers. He went 0-for-5 in two exhibition games with Atlanta.

The moves leave the Braves with 26 players, including the 13 position players who will open the season on the 25-man roster.

The Braves open Monday at home against the Washington Nationals.
