LEADING OFF: King Felix makes debut, Darvish visits doctor

A look at the highlights of what's happening all around spring training in Florida and Arizona on Tuesday:

---

KING FELIX

Mariners star Felix Hernandez makes his spring debut, facing the Rockies in Scottsdale, Arizona. He's working toward his start on opening day.

THE VERDICT

Rangers ace Yu Darvish meets with Dr. David Altchek in New York for a second opinion on his ailing right elbow. An initial MRI showed damage, and Darvish might need season-ending Tommy John surgery.

FEELING BETTER

Boston right fielder Shane Victorino is expected to play against Tampa Bay in Fort Myers, Florida. He got an additional day off Monday to rest his sore legs.

ANY DAY NOW

The Brewers still are awaiting the arrival of closer Francisco Rodriguez. He's at home in Venezuela, pending the approval of a work visa. The team is hoping he'll be in camp by the end of the week.

GETTIN' CLOSER

Angels pitcher Garrett Richards will throw a batting practice session at camp. He's coming back from a season-ending knee operation and won't be ready by opening day.
