KCKansas City Royals
2016 Record: 49-53
#31 Ian Kennedy
Jul 25: Kennedy (6-9) allowed four runs on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts over five innings in a loss Monday against the Angels. Kennedy didn't allow a home run for the first time since May 30, but it didn't matter. He didn't have his control and was constantly pitching from behind (12 first-pitch strikes to 25 hitters). His 26 home runs allowed are still the most in the major leagues, two clear of both Cleveland's Josh Tomlin and Toronto's R.A. Dickey, and for that reason, it remains next to impossible to trust him in any given start.
