          NEW YORK -- The Mets and Daniel Murphy have settled on a one-year deal worth $8.0 million, avoiding arbitration.

          Murphy will be eligible for free agency after the 2015 season.

          Lucas Duda and Jenrry Mejia are the lone cases yet to be resolved.
