UPDATE: The Bulls announced Rose should return in 4-6 weeks following Friday's surgery. This is good news for the team and Rose as the playoffs begin in seven weeks.

Friday is a very important day for the Chicago Bulls as Derrick Rose is set to have a meniscectomy in the morning to take care of the torn right medial meniscus. If there is severe damage he will be out for the season, however a minor tear can be just snipped off, which would allow him to return in a few weeks.
