The Miami Heat reduced their roster by three on Thursday as they released G Larry Drew II, SG Tyler Johnson and PF Shawn Jones. The Heat are hoping the trio will end up playing for their D-League team, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The Heat gave Johnson $75,000 worth of salary protection and that amount will count toward the 2014-15 cap.
