During the 2013 pre-draft process many NBA executives with picks in the lottery (Nos. 1-14) were displeased with Ben McLemore's lack of conditioning. For that reason he slipped a bit to the Sacramento Kings at No. 7. Most of them blamed the people around him for the bad advice and poor workouts. Eventually he hired Rodney Blackstock of Rivals Sports to represent him, but Blackstock is no longer his agent.
