Report: Burke hungry to rebound from last season

Utah Jazz point guard Trey Burke struggled during the 2014-15 season and he lost the starting point guard position to Dante Exum. Since the offseason began, Burke has been working to improve his game and that dedication has not stopped. From Jody Genessy of the Deseret News:

"While the NBA has been off, Burke has been on the go. Part of it has been for fun and personal enrichment while tutoring younger kids in some pretty neat opportunities. Another part of his busy summer has been a personal drive for a young player, coming off a rough year and who now has extra competition at the point guard position. ... Since the 2014-15 season ended, Burke has participated in workouts with the Jazz in Salt Lake City, Santa Barbara, California, and Las Vegas. He’s hosted his own camp back home in Columbus, Ohio, with another scheduled for his college home. He’s also given the NBA a hand with events in the Philippines, Nevada and Africa. Playing a difficult game of Where In The World Is Trey Burke? The answer, for now, is Johannesburg, South Africa. He’s there for a Basketball Without Borders event and for the first-ever NBA Africa Game on Saturday (ESPN, 7 a.m.). ... Burke is determined to improve upon his second NBA season in which he shot a disappointing 36.8 percent from the field, including 31.8 percent from 3-point range. The 6-foot-1 point guard has focused on getting in the paint and finishing. And he’s worked hard on his shot, which has been inconsistent since the Jazz traded for the 2013 NCAA Player of the Year following his successful two-year run at Michigan."

When training camp opens the point guard depth chart may look like this: Exum, Burke, Bryce Cotton and Raul Neto.
