I’m sorry, but I don’t see a happy ending for Howard and the Hawks: Friends and family and day campers cheered the hometown guy who’d grown up playing in the very gymnasium where everyone was gathered, and he thanked the Atlanta Hawks “for believing in me.” Here’s the thing, though.
