Monday's Jazz Links: Summer League roster almost set

Sources: Jazz add O'Brien, Fofana to summer league roster: The summer league roster for the Utah Jazz is filling up and beginning to take shape. League sources, on Sunday, confirmed to the Salt Lake Tribune that two more players will be coming to SLC in the next week. Those guys are 6-foot-7 small forward J.J. O’Brien and seven-footer Bangaly Fofana, who played this season overseas. -- The Salt Lake Tribune

Jazz draftees heavy on college experience, now which one will be an NBA hit?: As much as anything that happened with the basketball in his hands during four years at North Carolina, guard Marcus Paige's Senior Night speech will have lasting impact. That's saying a lot, considering he made the shot that seemingly forced overtime in the NCAA championship game, only to have a Villanova player top him at the buzzer. Standing at center court in Chapel Hill, Paige evoked tears from longtime coach Roy Williams by telling him, "I'm a 10 times better man than I was when I got here, so thank you." -- The Salt Lake Tribune

Utah Jazz plan to be 'active' during free-agency period: If things go as planned for the Utah Jazz in the next couple of weeks, management probably won’t joke about returning injured players being their free-agent pickups as they’ve done in the past. Though Utah brass like their young core — including rehabbing Dante Exum and Alec Burks, both expected to be healthy by training camp — the organization has an offseason objective of fortifying the roster. That means, if possible, acquiring more talent via free agency and/or trades. -- Deseret News
