Maurice Ndour has reached an agreement on a three-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks, league sources told ESPN.com.
The first year is guaranteed and half of the second year is guaranteed, according to league sources.
The 6-9 forward out of Ohio University had a strong showing with the New York Knicks in the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 9.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in five games, including a 23-point performance against Philadelphia.
Ndour, who has a 7-4 wingspan, also impacted the game on defense, averaging 3.6 deflections per game (third among Vegas players, according to NBA.com).
The Knicks showed interest in signing Ndour but, according to a source, Dallas offered more guaranteed money than New York.
