30 for 30 MLB roundup: Royals suffer another setback

The Kansas City Royals suffered what could be a significant loss Tuesday, when Lorenzo Cain suffered a hamstring injury that just did not look good, in a defeat at the hands of the Cardinals. After Cain grabbed his left leg just after crossing first base, Royals manager Ned Yost stepped out of the dugout to tend to his player, head down. We can only imagine what was going through his mind, but you wouldn't have blamed him if these words rattled around his head: What next?

The Royals lost Mike Moustakas to a season-ending knee injury in May. They just got Alex Gordon back from the disabled list after he missed more than a month. The starting pitching has been an enormous problem; the Royals are ranked 28th among 30 teams in starting pitcher ERA. And the Indians just never lose these days. Tribe starter Corey Kluber dominated the Braves on Tuesday, and Cleveland came back to win its 11th straight game.
