C's trigger options on Sully, Zeller, Olynyk

BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics formally exercised the third-year option on Kelly Olynyk and the fourth-year options on Jared Sullinger and Tyler Zeller on Wednesday.

By triggering those options, the Celtics will keep their talented young big men on affordable rookie pacts. Olynyk is scheduled to earn $2.2 million next season, while Sullinger ($2.3 million) and Zeller ($2.6 million) are also on cap-friendly deals.

The Celtics will have a chance to pick up Olynyk's fourth-year option next October, while Sullinger ($3.3 million qualifying offer) and Zeller ($3.7 million QO) will have a chance to start discussing possible extensions.
