Musgrave suspended 1 race for Milwaukee incident

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Ted Musgrave was suspended one race
Wednesday for retaliating against another driver during the Truck
Series race at the Milwaukee Mile.

Musgrave, the 2005 Truck Series champion, must sit out Saturday
night's race at Memphis Motorsports Park. He was also penalized 50
points, fined $10,000 and placed on probation through the end of
the year.

Musgrave wrecked with rookie Kelly Bires on Friday night in
Milwaukee. He restarted his truck, chased down Bires and forced him
into the wall. NASCAR immediately parked him for the rest of the
race.

Mike Hillman Sr., general manager of Germain Racing, said
Musgrave will be replaced this weekend by Brad Keselowski.

Musgrave's suspension is the first for a driver since Jimmy
Spencer was not allowed to race at Bristol in 2003 for punching
Kurt Busch after a race in Michigan.
