Warriors waive G Roberson

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Golden State Warriors waived guard
Anthony Roberson on Friday.

Roberson made the team as a free agent in training camp, but
appeared in only 20 games with the Warriors. The former Florida
star averaged 5.6 points while playing 11.4 minutes, but his
playing time declined before he sat out the last five games with a
sprained toe.

Golden State, which lost Jason Richardson to a broken hand on
Dec. 30, signed guard Kelenna Azubuike out of the NBA Development
League earlier in the week. The Warriors have shuffled several
guards through coach Don Nelson's lineup, also cutting Dajuan
Wagner earlier in the season.
