MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- With 12 points each, Desmond Yates and Kevin Kanaskie led Middle Tennessee to a 59-51 victory over South Alabama Tuesday night. The Blue Raiders (6-8, 2-2 SBC) outrebounded the Jaguars (7-7, 1-2 SBC) by 43-22. With 10 points, Kyle Young was the only other double digit scorer for Middle Tennessee. Scoring 12 points, South Alabama's Leandro Buboltz was in a three-way tie with Yates and Kanaskie as the game high scorers. Buboltz was the only Jaguar to hit the double figures. Daon Merritt helped out with eight assists.
