ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia director of athletics Damon Evans
said Thursday he has added Oregon to the Bulldogs' football
schedules for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Georgia will play at Oregon in 2015 and the Ducks will play in
Athens in 2016. The dates for the games have not been set.
The only previous Georgia-Oregon game was a 27-16 Georgia win in
Athens in 1977.
"This will bring another great intersectional series to our
future schedules," Evans said. "Oregon has had some great teams
and has a national reputation for outstanding football."
Evans also recently announced the additions of Colorado (2006
and 2010), Arizona State (2008 and 2009), Louisville (2011 and
2012) and Clemson (2013 and 2014) to Georgia's schedules.
