Lieber eyes first victory; Phillies seek sweep of Marlins

MIAMI - It might only be a two-game series, but the
Philadelphia Phillies certainly would take a sweep any way they
could get it at this point.

The Phillies try to complete their first sweep of the season
when they meet the Florida Marlins on Tuesday in the back end of
a brief two-game set.

Philadelphia took Monday's series opener, 8-5, as Shane
Victorino's two-run single highlighted a four-run seventh inning
and Pat Burrell's eighth-inning home run snapped a 5-5 tie.

David Bell contributed two hits and Chase Utley and Jimmy
Rollins added RBIs singles for the Phillies, who have won two
straight following a three-game skid.

Philadelphia will try and match its season high of three
straight wins behind Jon Lieber (0-4, 7.04 ERA), who desperately
needs a victory himself.

Despite poor numbers, the veteran righthander has pitched well
in three of his five starts this season, including Thursday's
6-3 loss to Colorado in which he allowed three runs in seven
innings.

Florida counters with Scott Olsen (1-1, 2.12), who has not
yielded more than two earned runs in any of his three starts
this season. The rookie lefthander allowed two runs - one
earned - despite surrendering only one hit in five innings of
Wednesday's eventual 7-5 victory against the Chicago Cubs.
