Atlanta 6, Los Angeles 5

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) -- Chipper Jones homered for the third
straight game and Damon Hollins hit an RBI double in the bottom of
the ninth, giving the Atlanta Braves a 6-5 victory over the Los
Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.

Jones, batting left-handed, connected against Kazuhisa Ishii in
his first at-bat. Jones has three homers and a triple in his last
four games.

"It usually takes awhile for me to get the power stroke going
from the left side, so this has been really nice," Jones said.
"I've juiced a few pitches this week and that means I'm pretty
close to being ready for the season. I wish it would start
tomorrow. I usually hit homers in bunches and I don't want to leave
any down here."

Andruw Jones hit his third home run of the spring, a two-run
shot in fourth. Braves starter Horacio Ramirez went six innings,
giving up eight hits and one earned run.

Ishii allowed six hits and three earned runs in 5 2-3 innings.
Bubba Trammell homered for the Dodgers.

Los Angeles scored a run in the ninth on Robin Ventura's two-out
single.

It was the fifth straight win for the Braves, who play two more
games in Florida before returning to Atlanta for two exhibition
games against the Boston Red Sox starting Friday.
