From dcs78: What would you say is Wisconsin's biggest obstacle to get to the BCS title game?

Bret Bielema: Wisconsin's biggest obstacle to get to the BCS title game really is taking every game for what it really is - taking every day for what it really is. If your guys start trying to jump to the end of the schedule or start to jump to someplace other than the present spot we're in, that's when people begin to trip over their own feet.

From david_rivera: What do you think about Russell Wilson's chances of winning the Heisman?

Bret Bielema: Russell Wilson's chances on winning the Heisman I think will be determined on how he plays. In today's world there really aren't campaigns, you don't have to to send out a million emails or write a book or put up a poster board. All you gotta do is play good football. I know Russell's concentrating on that and his teammates will help him do that as well.

From barryhitchson7: How do you tell your team to handle the increased media spotlight and national attention on and off the field?

Bret Bielema: Obviously we've won a few games and the attention to us is going to be brought to us more and more. It's something that our kids embrace. I think that our coaches understand that the more we play and the more we play well is going to gather more and more attention. So I kind of bring them back. To quote, I believe Muhammad Ali, 'the more real you get the more unreal it gets' and I think our guys are buying into that.

From badgersfan88: Do you feel your non-conference schedule will hurt your chances of playing in the BCS title game?

Bret Bielema: Obviously there's a lot of debate on what we should do with our non-conference schedule. The games that we played this year were scheduled up to ten years out so it's kind of hard. Oregon State for instance, they're maybe on a down year this year but they're a team that was in the BCS for the last four or five years and historically has been pretty good. The biggest thing we can focus on are the games that we had, the games that are in front of us, and hopefully we will get where want to be.

From Sssales007: Do you think your recruitment of Russell Wilson will help you attract more blue chip prospects on a national level in the future?

Bret Bielema: I think turned some heads with picking Wisconsin but since he's been on campus the things that he's shown, the talents that he's shown, the ability that you see on a daily basis and the way he fits in with our team, the chemistry, the attitude, the environment... I think it's going to bring attention to us in recruiting as well as exposure for our program overall.

From Nrdraeger: Which player on your team has most pleasantly surprised you so far this season?

Bret Bielema: We've had a couple of reserves that have popped in and really helped us. We got a guy Marcus Cromartie pop in and do a really nice job and has played well up to this point. Last week going into the Nebraska game we had DE David Gilbert go down with a broken foot we had three guys jump in and do a really good job. It's really been the guys that have been called upon after someone in front of them that have goes down that have played well that has really been a surprise for all of us.

From marktyoung: What team is the biggest challenge left for the Badgers?

Bret Bielema: The biggest challenge we have is really just to take one game at a time. I think the biggest challenge is Wisconsin ourselves. If we ever start to get away from who we are, we are going to bring ourselves down. Keeping focus on our opponents one game at a time, I think that will get us to where we need to be.

From tvanfossen: What is your favorite restaurant or place to go in Madison?

Bret Bielema: Favorite place would probably be Tuscany. It's a little quiet place on the top of a hotel that always has great food with a little Italian flare. My fiancé loves their butterfly shrimp.
