Damon is 39. That is about it for position players. Only exceptions are a few pitchers that have had success past age 40. Damon might be ok in spots but not as an everyday player and a one year contract is all he is going to see. Pretty sad if the Yankees doesnt have anybody in the farm system thats halfway ready.
