I do feel an urge to elaborate on the inane argument that the Pacers "own" Miami. As I recall, it was the Pacers getting their mouths f.ucked in Games four through six in the playoffs, and two of those three games were in their own house. I also feel the need to stress that regular season performances bear zero clairvoyant consequences on the playoffs. Let's not forget the Lakers dismantled the Mavericks with ease in all four meetings of the 2010-11 regular season, then got summarily swept BY them in May. Don't go swingin' your team's d.ick when they haven't even gotten it wet yet.

It doesn't matter. The best team doesn't always win the championship. Does anyone really think the Mavs were the best team in '11? Or the Pistons in '04? What about the 65-win teams (and other top seeds) that have been resoundingly trampled in the first round? More than anything championships depend on luck of the draw. If you play a hot, confident team that's essentially owned you recently, you won't be waving your big d.ick around like a porn star. You'll be thinking "damn, what does Mr. Average $@%!$ know about good intercourse that I don't?"
