Hopefully. KG is 1 of the greatest all-around players ever & he fits perfectly in a Celtic uni.

What I'd love to know is, what makes anyone believe he can show any class and loyalty to a mediocre team in freezingass Boston when he couldn't show any class and loyalty to a mediocre team in freezingass Minneapolis. THAT'S the big difference between Garnett and Duncan. When the Spurs were routinely getting whipped by the Lakers, he stuck around, taught his teammates like a coach would, and eventually dismantled them and personally ended the Shaq-Kobe era. When the Spurs were routinely getting dusted by inferior squads in the first round, he stuck around, and taught his new younger teammates, helping to carry them back to title contention. When Garnett's teams suck, he sulks, whines, bullies, and blames. You can tell the difference in his countenance between a win and loss in the regular season. He pouts. You never hear "I coulda did this, I shoulda did that." it's always "get on KG's level." KG's level? The one that's produced a second-round exit or worse all but four times in his career? N*gga please.

Duncan was winning rings early in his career- KG stuck it out in minnesota for 10+ years without winning a playoff series and never made a single complaint- not many players do that

The end is near. The Celtics & KG are becoming irrelevant together.

Tim Duncan is a beast. Not only his personal resume but the Spurs have been a contender as long as hes been on the court. True first ballot HOFer. Who would of thought Wake Forest could produce such a beast.

Great regular-season team? Is that why Duncan wears four rings that he actually earned and Garnett wears only one that a bunch of former All-Stars came off the bench to win for him? I mean I seem to recall DWIGHTINA'S team sodomizing the Celtics, IN GAME 7, in THEIR OWN HOUSE!! NEVER woulda seen Dwightina win a single playoff game, let alone series, against the Spurs. @ssbag.

What does this have to do with KG? Granted yes Duncan is a hof but they're just a great regular season team. Once popovich is out, bye bye spurs!!

If Timmy played for the Knicks he'd be a God. ESPNwould ride him like they do Kobe and LeBron. He would be the greatest according to ESPN but only if he played for the Knicks. He wouldn't be considered boring

I know this is off the subject, but Who else agrees that Tim Duncan has had a better career and has been a better player than Garnett?! (just my opinion)

Not even a question. Timmy all substance, no style, so he gets overlooked, but he is way better than garnett. Timmy makes everyone around him better, and has the rings to show it. Garnett has 1 ring that Danny Winged payed for.

COMPLETE agreement. Not to mention all these Boston bandwaggoners (that's right, BANDWAGGONERS; most of you wouldn't have owned so much as a Bird throwback before the '08 season you were so ashamed to be affiliated with the team) who hate all over Bron for joining his peers to win a ring fail to acknowledge that KG was the one who taught him to do it. Duncan stayed in one town, made teammates better, practiced everything his coach preached. KG came into the league trying to be an alpha dog, which is exactly what ran n*ggas like Marbury, Gugliotta, Laettner, Cassell, and Sprewell outta Minnesota, yet he wanted to blame management for never "winning HIM a title". Duncan is ten times both the man AND the player Garnett COULD ever be, and that's coming as a longtime KG fan. I'd draft Timmy, in his prime, before anyone else in the league in the post-Jordan era.

I'm no Spurs fan, but s.h.i.t.....former MVP, 4-time NBA champion, helped David Robinson retire an NBA champion, so hell yeah. Tim Duncan > Kevin Garnett

Probably not. They've never been exactly loyal to their aging stars. Everyone knows they tried to shop Ray for YEARS, even though his detractors wanna call him every racist name in the book for leaving, like he did something to the fans personally. They tried to ship Bird to Dallas before his back gave out prior to the '92 Olympics. Rondo and KG have both been shopped. Parish was exiled. It's only a matter of time before he winds up benchriding for a top-5 lottery pick team, unless he retires at the end of this year.

Not really. All they have to do is tell him, "hey, if you refuse to waive it, we're only gonna run you on ball screens late in games we lose in blowouts, and never other than that", and I guarantee you he waives that clause quick fast and in a hurry if they can find him a home on a playoff team that'll use him for 20 minutes a night.
