I just got done watching the Tim McCarver Show, where Peter Gammons gets interviewed. Tim McCarver stated "My picks to make the World Series this year.....The Washington Nationals vs The Anaheim Angels". Does anyone here agree with Tim McCarver's picks for the 2013 World Series?

I don't think it's possible to legitimately predict 50% of baseball's or football's playoff field, considering how small said fields are in 30+ team leagues and with free agency, let alone accurately predict the finalists. Out of everyone on this board, tell me anyone other than bona-fide homers would've picked the Niners OR Ravens to even MAKE the Super Bowl last August. In baseball, the season is so long that for all but the truly best, consistency is impossible to maintain, so the earliest you can make serious predictions on which 5 teams will get a draw is late August. As for McCarver's picks, the Nats are gonna lack confidence due to management lacking confidence in them, and the Angels are nothing but a roster of yesterday's names with tomorrow's money.

Get over it. The sport generates millions so they should be compensated for the amount of money they bring to their teams and sport.

But u gotta give felix the edge bc he's been stellar on a terrible team for years. True that doesn't mean everything as far as era and all go but keeping playing well and not getting down says alot. I vote king felix!
