This was such a political move on the part of the nfl. They clearly way over punished Ed reed on purpose just so he could appeal it. Then when the appeal goes through and the suspension is lifted now the nfl can argue that the appeal system is fair and works. This was all orchestrated as an argument to the players in the bounty case saying the appeal system isn't fair

Pretty soon they are going to turn it into flag football. It's football!!!!! Its a Contact sport & the athletes the get involved in it & pursue it as a career know that. They also know the risks. Makes me sick watching a game anymore. Everyone plays half assed & with such caution only because they are scared to get a flag or fined.

Reed plays like the DBs of old. Ronnie Lott and Dick Butkus, Reggie White, Rod Woodson, etc, would name their kids after him they'd be so proud. On the same token, everyone in the league knows Sanders is a coward and tries to flop his way into fake cheap-shot calls, so Ed should've been prepared for the bit and dislocated Sanders' knees instead.
