Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I find ESPN on my phone?
A: You can find ESPN Mobile Web on the home pages of all the major US wireless carriers (check the Sports section). You can also enter http://espn.mobi into your phone’s browser. In most phone browsers, there is a Go to... or Go to URL... menu option that you can use to do this.

Q: How do I sign in to my ESPN account on my phone?
A: You can sign in from the Favorite Teams section of the ESPN homepage or the bottom of any other page throughout the site. Once you’re signed in, you can set your favorite teams and manage your preferences for ESPN Alerts, ESPN Fantasy League Manager, and other ESPN products. You only need to enter your account details once, and then they will be saved until you sign out. You can also sign up for a new ESPN account on your phone if you don’t have one.

Q: I can't sign in. I have forgotten my username or password. How can I retrieve them?
A: If you've forgotten your Member Name or Password, go to www.espn.com from a computer and click the 'Forgot: Password or Member Name' links at the top of the page.

Q: Why do I get signed out from my ESPN account every time I leave the browser?
A: You may not have cookies turned on, or your phone may not support cookies. Check your browser settings and turn cookies on if possible. This may also affect your ability to set your favorite teams.

Q: On my Windows Mobile phone, boxscores show up in one column and are very hard to read? How do I fix it?
A: Click the right softkey (Menu) and choose the View submenu. Choose Fit to Screen instead of One Column. That should do it!

Q: On my Palm OS phone, the ESPN and Mobile Web graphics on the home page show up on different lines? How do I fix it?
A: Press the Menu key and choose Options, then Wide Page Mode. ESPN will still work in Optimized Mode, but a number of special features (like enhanced boxscores) may not look right.

Q: How do I sign up for or change my ESPN Alerts?
A: You can sign up or manage your ESPN Alerts preferences from the footer of any ESPN page.

Q: The pictures on the ESPN Mobile Web site do not show up. How do I make them display correctly?
A: Make sure you’re using a phone that supports images; most phones sold in the last 2 years will support our image formats. You may also need to turn images on in your browser settings.

Q: Why can't I watch video on ESPN Mobile Web?
A: ESPN Video is not available on ESPN Mobile Web. However, ESPN Video is available through the ESPN MVP and VCAST services on Verizon Wireless, the CV service on AT&T, and the Sprint TV service on Sprint Nextel.

Q: What is the difference between ESPN Mobile Web and ESPN MVP?
A: ESPN Mobile Web is a mobile web site where you can find ESPN content using the mobile device browser on any carrier. ESPN MVP is a downloadable application that gives you access to richer ESPN content, and is available only to Verizon VCAST subscribers.

Q: Why can't I manage my fantasy teams on the mobile web?
A: Fantasy management is only available on ESPN.com and in the ESPN MVP.

Q: Does ESPN provide special mobile coverage of sporting events like March Madness, the Superbowl, the World Series, etc?
A: Yes. ESPN Mobile Web provides users with exclusive, in-depth coverage of over 25 major sporting events each year, above and beyond our constant commitment to bringing you top news and scores. You can check out all our special coverage under the What’s Hot section of the ESPN Home page.
