Trading closers for prospects is a good way to add talent to your team. The A's hit Josh reddick for Andrew Baily and he added some pop and good defense to the A's for a closer.

Seriously why does everyone seem to favor the senior citizens in the Bronx? THEY ARE REALLY OLD. They will suffer injuries to their ancient players early and often. I am a Red Sox fan and they will be better with the changes but I would not call them a favorite in the East. If Baltimore can keep playing well they and Tampa should be the favorites. I will be shocked if the clowns in the Bronx finish in the top 3. Toronto will still be good as well so good luck with a team of 35+ year olds in the Bronx.

The Jays have the rotation to compete in the East. Boston has cleaned house and will have a much better clubhouse but they have a lot of questions to answer. Yanks are the team to beat until someone knocks them off that perch but age is catching up with that core quickly. I wouldn't be surprised to see them falter. O's haven't improved, but rather lost a few pieces. Buck will get them ready every night and continue to develop their young talent. Rays are the Rays, and will be there at the end. I'm not picking this division, too many what-ifs and not one sure thing.
