Sure isn't a lot of originality in columbia. Also not to mention in carolina's conference championship appearance they lost by 39, not to mention the 46 point loss to Clemson. I can admit that the game clemson lost to WVU was terrible, where I'm sure I'd never hear any carolina fans admit anything close to that with their games.

Gamecock here, congrats on the commitment Clemson. Not too shabby having the state of South Carolina pull in the top recruit in the nation twice within the past five years. Hopefully the trend will continue, but moreso towards Columbia :-) congrats though. After that Orange Bowl your defense needs all the help it can get!

Carolina has to play in the east. Tell me they shouldn't win those games. they have to play the likes of UGA(has been down comin back maybe though), UF(same as UGA), then you have UT(not what they used to be), UK, and not the likes of Vandy. They played 2 teams from the west and went 1-2 in those games. Keep cheering for LSU and Alabama. Best season in their history and didn't even win their division. If these are their "best years" shouldn't they win at least a conf. championship?

And clemson has twice as many in the past 10 years alone - including violence against women that go unpunished. USC just won 11 games in the toughest conference in the country while the copycat tigers broke every dubious record known to man in the Orange Bowl last year against a solid-but-not great WVU team. At least when USC's student-athletes go astray, they're held accountable. Half the ones you mention are exaggerated or complete fabrications for crying out loud.

No, you just have players beat their girlfriends to the point they have to go to the hospital and receive little to no punishment whatsoever...See DeAndre McDaniel & Joe Craig. Not to mention Sammy Watkins caught with individual bags of weed (intent to distribute) and Adderall that he didn't have a prescription for - felony. No punishment at all yet. Clemson has had an assistant track coach killed while football players were having their fun on jet skis at a boosters house....no penalties/punishments. USC is a clean program compared to clemson...and our players actually develop during their time in Columbia, not stagnate and level off before becoming NFL busts.

Looking at Clemson's recruiting in the past four days, you would think they are really ahead. But at this point, they still rank 26th in the nation in recruiting. I just think it's crazy that Vanderbilt is ranked 13th right now. Anyway, just goes to show how crazy things are at this point in the recruiting world.

ACC - top academic conference, Clemson close to his hometown and father (mother is overseas I believe), DE's making NFL, and easier schedule/place to play and shine (Yes I can acknowledge other conferences are better with talent).....but this kind of makes sense to me....If we hang on to him, then great, but it does really boil down to coaching and getting the young man prepared for life. For that, I commend him on picking Clemson or any higher education program.

Oh, did they add to their wopping 13 point total at south carolina last season, or 14 the year before that in clemson, or 17 the year before that. Just like a clemson fan to always refer back to history. West virginia scored 70 and couldve kept scoring if they didnt want there program to lose respect.
