IRVING, Texas -- Mike Jenkins didn't talk to the media after reporting to mandatory minicamp, apparently opting to pout in a passive-aggressive manner. That's fine for now. Jenkins has another six wee...

Another poorly written article, Jenkins don't have to preform because he preform above standards from day 1, unlike Scandrick. Jenkins have played hurt and for you to write an article about a player like that is so stupid. Jenkins has every right to be $@%! just like you would be $@%! if you had the talents to even play pee wee football. Lay off the guy let him heal, he's not dumb and he know what to do get paid in the future.

I'm sorry but you lose all credibility by calling the article poorly written when you go on to say "Jenkin's don't have to" and spelled perform incorrectly multiple times.

Jenkins had every opportunity to nail down a big contract extension but his play never warranted it. IMO, Dallas has managed to identify far too many of these arrogant guys who aren't worthy of the star.

Very well said. He had two years to EARN the starting role. Instead, he wants to be GIVEN the starting role. Too bad for him. He does not deserve to start over Morris Clairborne and Brandon Carr. Both are better. If Jenkins simply plays his role this year, then a team will notice him and give him a chance.

When a player works out on the field and has a watch strapped on his wrist, he is not too serious about his effort. I agree that his play in 2011 erased some bad taste in my mouth, but his play in 2010 was one of the worst all time. I lost count of the number of major penalties, which he had in 2010. Plus he could not cover a statue that year.

its the state of professional sports....players want to get paid whether they suck or not...how about playing at an elite level this year Mike and THEN get your payday....what the heck did you do last and the years before to warrant a big pay raise?..oh wait JJ is the GM so I guess anything is possible in Dallas

I'm glad Mike Jenkins is being called out as a baby. If he was smart, he would come out and prove that he deserves to start. That way his value is at a maximum going into his free agent season. Right now he is making himself look like a selfish overpaid pampered baby that is too mentally fragile to be able to handle some adversity. That definitely sounds like a guy that other teams will be willing to give top dollar to after this season.
