Just like I always loathed Bud-Light and Doritos and later found out that my loathing was justified (Doritos contains Monsanto bt corn and Bud-Light uses Genetically Engineered rice) so too did I have an uneasy feeling all along about Auriemma. It is irrelevant what the woman looks like, I know guys who, after a few tequila shots who would be tempted to look at Kirstie Alley or Hot Lips from MASH (both nasty) so I do believe this woman has a case. The fact that Geno is a good coach is not pertinent to the allegations. The recent scandal at Penn State will also serve as proof of this. A winning % on playing field or court does equate to winning in court.

And how do you know he's guilty? Simply because he's a man coaching a women's team? I think we need a little more evidence than that... I also think the timing of the lawsuit is really very suspicious, but that's exactly what I'd expect a lawyer looking for a big out-of-court settlement to do. This thing allegedly happened three years ago - why bring it now? I don't necessarily buy the argument that this was triggered by a recent decision - this was likely planned for months or years. And what was Auriemma going to do if the NBA and USA Basketball didn't remove her? Quit the team? I think his influence may be a bit overstated...
