@Linderella Slipper How can you say Peyton had no receivers in Indy so it'd be the same in NY? Manning to Harrison was one of the best duos in NFL history. He had Wayne, Garcon, and Clark, more than Sanchez has with Plaxico and Holmes. Sanchez has been lazy for the Jets cause he hasn't had ANYONE behind him to pose a threat to his spot. He gets paid, he starts, he could care less. Put Peyton in NY and have fun with the NY rivalry.

asinine argument Ian. Sanchez won because of those around him. Peyton won in spite of those around him. Just look at the record with and without Peyton. Do you believe Sanchez was a catalyst for the Jets playoff wins? Not to mention that if Peyton's even thinking about Miami, the Jets will have no hope of competing in the AFC East for the next 3 years.

in my opinion, the jets should not persue peyton. to me, its too risky to sign a 36 year old qb who sat out the season due to an injury which he is one good hit away from having again. i was not pleased with them signing favre either. the guy just was not what he was in his prime. what the jets need to do now is to get a solid back up to sanchez....someone who will push him to do better, and be able to come in and play if sanchez falters. that was not the case with brunell. some of you cite stats only when it benefits your argument. but, what else do you have to go by? statistically, sanchez at the present time, is about equal with favre and peyton at this point in their careers. so, i say.....no thanks peyton. go play somewhere else.

I think Ian and Mark Sanchez should find a motel room quick! The fact is Sanchez is back tracking and NOT progressing. Throw all the numbers you want at me, heck compare his stats to Eli Manning. If you watch the Jets play live, game in and game out, you'll see what an offensive disaster it is AND it starts with the QB. I'm not saying Peyton is the answer to our problems, all i'm saying is Sanchez is not the answer. Also, please give Sanchez some competition! He's too comfortable with a nice starting position, juicy paycheck, and having amazing sleepovers with Kate Upton.
