couple things to say. 1. boozer has been playing really good the last like 8-10 games. people need to give guys a chance to change. we need boozer to be able to step up in the playoffs in order to win a title so we might as well stop trying to run him out of town. 2. I think it is pretty obvious the only force stopping Dwight Howard from coming to Chicago is our conservative front office. Its a hard choice to make considering how good our core of guys is and i am in no way surprised that our front office isn't trying to make a trade happen. I would definitely trade for D12 if the decision were on me however. Being able to pair the BEST PG and the BEST CENTER IN THE GAME. TOGETHER. can't pass that up. add in the fact that no matter how many games we win, we have to beat Miami and now it looks like the knicks can compete as well. D12 is a PROVEN WINNER. i'll go so far to say that they SHOULD have won the finals against the lakers in '09.

the bulls have 11 games before the trade deadline in which they'll be fully healthy for the first time this season. i don't think it's practical to discuss trades until rip can get a few games under his belt to establish chemistry with the starting unit (i'm guessing he'll need maybe 5 or 6 games). if it's not working, against quality opponents for that matter, then i think the front office will do something for sure. but my gut says it will work out with the roster we have at the moment. although i'd like to see JL3 get cut for a big man.

The Bulls are not worried or afraid of any team in the NBA. Even without a healthy RIP, they can compete against the elite teams of Miami and Thunder. They've played the most games, the most road games, and tied for the most wins in the NBA. They've missed a total of 57 games due to injury, and is a half game behind both Miami and Thunder who's core has been pretty much healthy all season (I know Miami has been healthy since the start of February). Only time will tell if RIP can stay healthy in the 2nd half, but they will have a major test the 2nd game after the break against the Spurs in Rodeo town. Not sure if RIP will be healthy enough to play yet, but with 3 games against Miami, 1 against at OK City, and 3 against New York. None of them really are not huge concerns.

regular season isnt a drama, bulls cannot survive if either one of rip hamilton or derrick rose are injured come playoff time.....thats a worry...

Why people are bailing on Rip Hamilton is beyond me. Yeah he's only played 11 games, but did it occur to anyone that out of those 11 games the starting lineup has been together for 5 of them, with not even a single one of those games coming at home. Rip is averaging 14 points without even being accustomed to the offense yet. Did you know the Bulls are 3rd in offensive efficiency, again with virtually no continuity with Rip? When Rip comes back the scores are going to get uglier. Worried fans, chill.

screw being a 'solid' team, we want this team to be a championship winning team, and not just one, we want multiple.....for that to happen rose needs help, and this team is still too reliant on rose to create and generate offense for them to survive......if garpax doesnt fix it soon, come playoff time the heat are going to exploit that weakness again and the same result as last year will happen.....thats the last thing anyone other than heat fans want....

We need that 2guard who can create his own shots and can stay relatively healthy. I hate that the Bulls have to put the entire team on Rose's shoulders and expects him to win a title by himself.

The bulls are a great regular season team, but they don't have a group of player who turn it up an extra notch in the playoffs. The pacers last year as an 8 seed almost took them out. The bulls are a great team but need a different mix in order to become a championship team that can push themselves to the next level, i think gibson was the only one who did that last season

well you really didn't watch round 1 because the pacers could have easily won a lot of those games, and in comparison to the regular season the pacers stepped up much more than the bulls. Experience is nice but all the teams except the 76ers have good amounts of team experience in the playoffs and it will be the bulls vs the heat again, in which the heat step up better than the bulls do sadly

Greenberg you need to take over Friedels job! The Bulls despite all their injuries are still a solid TEAM. Like SA in the West the Bulls are flying under the radar once again. Big test coming out of the All Star break with games against the Spurs but also we'll see if Rose really takes the loses to Philly and Indy personally and crushes em.

A solid TEAM can dominate the regular season, but it's stars that win in the playoffs... Just look at SA. Now that Duncan and Manu are old, Parker is the sole star left on that team (and playing great)... They had the best record in the West last year, but got bounced in the first round and could find the same fate again if they are matched-up against a team with size... Stars create mismatches and overcome them.... Hard to do with just one star, but possible, so I have hopes

I have a strange feeling this year's playoffs is going to be wacky......a good number of teams could pull off a 1st round upset. just hope CHI is not on the short end this year.....CHI/MIA in the ECF is far from a lock, in my opinion.

The Sixers, Knicks, Pacers, Magic, Hawks, Celtics. None of those teams can compete with Miami and Chicago in a 7 game series. Now the West is a different story. Everybody thinks OKC is a lock to come out of the West, well I'm not convinced. The Spurs, Mavericks, Clippers are playing well. Then you have the Nuggets, Blazers, Lakers, Grizzlies, and Rockets. Right now there are 9 teams competing for 8 playoff spots, and honestly, any of the latter 5 teams I said could pull an upset against anyone of the first 4 I said.

I actually think OKC is a near-lock to make the finals. LA and DAL took a step back, while OKC gained a step. SA doesn't seem fit to beat OKC in a 7 game series.

I disagree. I don't think there's anything different than last year. The Knicks are slightly better. They'll get taken out in the first round. Lin got exposed last night. The Sixers might make the second round. Other than that I don't see many challengers: Bucks? Um, No. Indy? Nah, not buying that hype. Orlando? Hahahaha. No. Atlanta? Always fizzles out like a bad fart. No. Boston? Dead in the water already(and it's not even March). The Bulls will be fine.
