AMSTERDAM, June 14 - Feyenoord have named Bert van
Marwijk as coach to replace Erwin Koeman, who resigned last
month after they finished seventh in the Dutch first division. Thursday's announcement sees the 55-year-old embarking on
his second spell at Feyenoord, who he coached between 2000 and
2004, steering them to their 2002 UEFA Cup victory. He left in July 2004 for Borussia Dortmund but was sacked in
December last year. Van Marwijk's two-year contract at Feyenoord
starts on July 7, the club said on www.feyenoord.nl.
