ZAGREB, May 19 - Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb
gave their fans some icing on the cake on Saturday with a 3-0
win over runners-up Hajduk Split on the final day of the season.
The victory left them 20 points clear of their bitter foes.
Brazilian-born international striker Da Silva Eduardo became
the first player to score a hat-trick in the Croatian derby and
finished as the league's top scorer with 34 goals after another
outstanding individual performance.
Eduardo got off the mark when he raced clear and beat the
keeper with a crisp shot from 10 metres, steered home the second
with a close-range effort after a swift break by Vedran Coruka
and headed in the third from a corner.
