Two bass were caught off that bend with the stumps. The 4-pounder was adjacent to the bigger tree, the smaller fish closer to the bank near the brushy stuff. The size of the cover seems proportional to the size of fish you can expect to catch nearby. Light is fading and the launch ramp is 45 minutes away, but the next bend is only 100 yards down the creek. If the trend continues, this could be a very memorable evening the stump on that next point is huge.
