Soccer-Africa Champions League draw set for Zurich

JOHANNESBURG, May 6 - The draw for the group phase
of the African Champions League will be held out outside the
continent for the first time, on May 28 on the fringes of the
FIFA Congress in Zurich at the end of the month.

The Confederation of African Football will also conduct the
draw for the group phase of the continent's second club
competition, the African Confederation Cup, at the same time.

JS Kabylie (Algeria), ASEC Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Al Ittihad
(Libya), Royal Armed Forces (Morocco), Al Hilal (Sudan), the
Tunisian duo of Esperance and Etoile Sahel and holders Al Ahli
of Egypt are the eight teams who have qualified for the league
phase of the African Champions League.
