Dragons' Garcia throws 7 TD passes in season debut

UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Aaron Garcia threw seven touchdown passes in his season debut to lead the New York Dragons to a 67-45 victory over the Arizona Rattlers on Saturday night.

DaShane Dennis returned the game's opening kickoff 57 yards for a touchdown to set the tone and help New York (2-6) snap a four-game losing streak. Mike Horacek had seven receptions for 123 yards and four touchdowns.

Garcia, who played for the first time since breaking his right leg on Feb. 26, 2006, completed 17 of 30 passes for 251 yards.

Sherdrick Bonner was 22-for-44 for 290 yards and six touchdowns, but also threw four interceptions for the Rattlers (2-7). Trandon Harvey had 13 catches for 205 yards and four touchdowns.
