CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Bobcats re-signed swingman
Alan Anderson on Saturday, nearly four months after he was waived
by the team.

Anderson had been averaging 15.8 points with Tulsa in the NBA's
developmental league and scored 40 points in a game in January. He
replaces forward Eric Williams, who was waived Friday, on
Charlotte's 15-man roster.

Anderson, who was expected to be in uniform for the Bobcats'
game in Milwaukee on Saturday night, originally was signed as an
undrafted rookie in August 2005. He averaged 5.2 points in 42 games
with the Bobcats over parts of two seasons before he was waived on
Nov. 27.
