Malysz wins second straight World Cup jump event

KUOPIO, Finland -- Adam Malysz won his second straight ski
jumping World Cup event Tuesday, moving closer to overall leader
Anders Jacobsen of Norway.

Malysz jumped 125 and 115 meters for 229 points in tricky wind
and held off Andreas Kofler of Austria, who finished second. Thomas
Morgenstern of Austria was third.

"The conditions were very difficult, but the competition not
that difficult," said Malysz, who won his 34th World Cup event.

Jacobsen still leads the overall standings with 1,113 points,
but Malysz is only 60 points behind with five events remaining.
Malysz has four career overall World Cup titles.
