Owner-driver Roth enters 1 car for Indy 500

INDIANAPOLIS -- Owner-driver Marty Roth, a two-time starter
in the Indianapolis 500, entered one car Monday for the May 27
race.

The 48-year-old Canadian was the oldest driver as a rookie in
2004, when he became the first owner from the developmental Indy
Pro Series to move up to the IRL's IndyCar series. He was 24th
after crashing in the 2004 race and was 31st the following year.

Roth's only other IndyCar starts were last year, when he was
18th at Michigan and Kentucky and 19th at Chicago.

The Honda-powered Dallara is the fifth entry so far for this
year's Indy 500, following two cars apiece entered last week by
Dreyer & Reinbold Racing for former winner Buddy Rice and Sarah
Fisher.

The entry deadline is April 4.
