HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Saalb passed Dr. Rythym in the stretch
to get a two-length victory in Thursday's $34,000 feature race at
Oaklawn Park.
With Calvin Borel in the saddle, Saalb finished the six furlongs
in 1:11.54. The 5-year-old son of Unbridled, out of Majestic
Legend, was the favorite in the field of seven older horses and
paid $4, $2.80 and $2.20.
Dr. Rythym paid $6.80 and $4.60 in second, while Night Book,
another 3\ lengths back in third, paid $6.40.
The winner was trained by Ron Moquett.
