Blue Jackets put Fedorov on injured list, add Lindstrom

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets placed center
Sergei Fedorov on the injured reserve list Saturday and added
forward Joakim Lindstrom to the roster on emergency recall from the
club's American Hockey League affiliate in Syracuse.

Fedorov was placed on the list retroactive to Jan. 6, when he
hurt his elbow in a game at San Jose.

He has missed Columbus' last two games and is listed as
day-to-day. He has 13 goals and 15 assists in 36 games this season,
is tied for the club lead in goals and ranks third in points. In
1,091 career NHL games, Fedorov has 456 goals and 635 assists for
1,091 points.

Lindstrom, 23, has one goal in four games with the Blue Jackets
this season. He scored his first NHL goal at Minnesota on Dec. 29.
Columbus' second pick and the 41st overall in the 2002 draft, he
made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets last season and was
scoreless in three games.
