PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Andy Genao scored 21 points and made
five 3-pointers to lead Prairie View A&M to an 89-70 win over
Huston Tillotson on Wednesday night.
Genao made 5-of-7 3-point attempts and shot 67 percent from the
field for the Panthers (2-13). Chris Gaines made two 3-pointers and
finished with 17 points.
Also scoring in double figures were Dominique Sharpe with 12
points and Johnny Cobb with 10. Brian Ezeh added eight points, nine
rebounds and four assists.
K.C. Asomugha led Huston Tillotson with 17 points. He made
5-of-8 3-pointers. Andy Laitinen scored 15 points, Doug Krause had
11 and Christopher Wilson added 10. Krause and Wilson each grabbed
six rebounds.
Prairie View forced 21 turnovers, which led to 27 points. The
Panthers also won the rebounding battle, 42-31.
