CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Reserve Jade Perry had 19 points and
14 rebounds to help top-ranked Maryland achieve a season-high point
total by beating the Miami Hurricanes 111-53 Wednesday night.

Fellow reserve Ashleigh Newman also scored 19 points, sinking
six of seven 3-point tries for the Terrapins.

Defending national champion Maryland (18-0, 2-0 Atlantic Coast
Conference) earned its 24th consecutive victory, extending a school
record. Miami (9-9, 0-3) lost its fourth game in a row and only its
second this season at home.

The Terrapins, who lead the nation in shooting, finished at 57
percent from the field and topped 100 points for the fourth time
this season. Perry shot 8-for-10. Marissa Coleman had 14 points,
all in the first half, and added nine rebounds for the Terps, who
had a 56-25 advantage on the boards.

Maurita Reid led Miami with 24 points, and Albrey Grimsley added

DURHAM, N.C. -- Abby Waner finished with a career-high 27
points to lead Duke to the victory.

Waner made 6-of-7 from 3-point range and 10-of-13 overall for
the Blue Devils, who host No. 1 Maryland on Saturday.

Carrem Gay and Lindsey Harding had 16 points apiece for Duke
(17-0, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference).

Chioma Nnamaka led Georgia Tech (10-6, 1-2) with 13 points, and
Jacqua Williams had 10.

Waner scored 15 points to help Duke take a 43-27 halftime lead.<

WACO, Texas -- Courtney Paris scored 21 of her 32 points
after halftime when Oklahoma overcame a 10-point deficit and went
on to beat Baylor.

Oklahoma extended its record Big 12 winning streak to 22 games.

The Sooners (13-1, 3-0 Big 12) were down 39-29 after consecutive
baskets by Jhasmin Player sandwiched two missed free throws by
Paris in the opening minute of the second half. After that, Baylor
(15-2, 2-1) couldn't do anything to slow down Oklahoma's dominating
6-foot-4 sophomore center and had its 12 game-winning streak
snapped.

Paris also had 16 rebounds, her 42nd straight double-double.

Bernice Mosby, a transfer from Florida, led Baylor with 26
points and 11 rebounds.<

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Liz Honegger had 17 points and 10
rebounds for Bowling Green.

Carin Horne also scored 17 points for the Falcons (13-2, 3-0
Mid-American). Ali Mann added 13 points and reserve Amber Flynn had
10 points and five rebounds.

La'kia Stewart had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Kent State
(6-8, 2-1), and Kristin Peoples scored 10 points.<

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Morenike Atunrase hit a jumper with 1:04
left to lift Texas A&M to the win.

The Aggies held Tech scoreless for the final 3 minutes.

Lenka Zimova scored 11 points and Takia Starks added 10 to lead
the Aggies (10-3, 1-1 Big 12). Atunrase, the team's leading scorer,
had five points and four rebounds in her second game since breaking
her foot in early December.

Alesha Robertson had 14 points and 14 rebounds for Tech (10-6,
1-2).<
^No. 23 Texas 79, Missouri 77, OT=

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Earnesia Williams made two free throws with
5 seconds left in overtime to give Texas the win.

Williams forced the extra period when she grabbed her own
rebound off a missed jumper with 3 seconds remaining in regulation
and hit a jump shot to tie it at 71.

Williams finished with 10 points and Tiffany Jackson scored 22
for the Longhorns (12-4, 1-1 Big 12).

EeTisha Riddle had 31 points and 13 rebounds for Missouri (13-3,
1-2).<
