CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- If Adam Morrison can
improve his consistency, he could find himself mentioned among
possible Rookie of the Year candidates.

Coming off a season-high 30-point performance, Morrison looks
for more of the same Monday when the Charlotte Bobcats go for
their first three-game winning streak of the campaign against
the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After leading the nation in scoring at Gonzaga last season, the
22-year-old Morrison is averaging 13.7 points in his initial
campaign with the Bobcats. However, he made just 1-of-15 shots
and scored only five points Friday against the Los Angeles
Lakers.

Morrison bounced back for the Bobcats in Saturday's 113-102
triumph over the Indiana Pacers. He made 9-of-17 shots from the
floor and 10-of-11 free throws in the highest-scoring contest
by a rookie this season.

Minnesota finished December by losing six of its last nine games
and is just 5-10 on the road this season.

Ricky Davis and Randy Foye scored 18 points each and Kevin
Garnett added 17 with 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves in
Saturday's 100-92 defeat to the New Jersey Nets.

The teams have split their first four matchups with the home
team taking each victory. Brevin Knight scored 24 points to lead
Charlotte to a 97-92 triumph over Minnesota on in the previous
showdown on April 4.
